The Village provides shopping and restaurants. SHARC offers aquatic and recreation facilities, while Fort Rock Park, the Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory, and access to the Deschutes River add other ways to spend time outside. Winter brings access to skiing at Mt. Bachelor, so Sunriver’s appeal extends beyond summer vacations.
Sunriver has year-round residents as well as second homes and vacation rentals. Those uses can create different experiences from one location to another. A home near the Village or SHARC may suit different priorities than one farther from those activity centers.
Ownership also deserves a closer look. Sunriver Owners Association facilities and Sunriver Resort amenities are managed separately, so buyers should verify the access, memberships, and costs associated with a particular property.
